Hello friends
Today I have a video for you. And some cards which are a little bit different for me. As many of you know, I usually take part in the 30 Day Colouring Challenge (hosted by Kathy Racoosin) which takes place 2 or 3 times a year. During this period, amongst other things, I colour lots of die-cut images, and at the end they are ready to use on cards. However, quite often I do not get around to using them straight away, so I wanted to find a way of making the most of what I had coloured.
So, I have five cards for you today, all using pre-coloured images, so you won’t see me colour in the video. The video is just about creating five different backgrounds and putting the cards together. All cards are are 4″ x 4″, which is just the right size for these cute little images. I hope that you enjoy.
Here are some close up photographs of the cards that I created.
These images are so cute, and the cards as a whole quite different for me. But who can resist them eh?
As always, I very much appreciate you stopping by and taking the time to read and/or watch. I hope that you enjoy the rest of your week and I will be back on Friday with a special project.

Lisa what an amazing video, fantastic collection of cards and backgrounds and so much inspiration. Instantly I am thinking of all those hundreds of coloured little buts and pieces I have that could be on cards. You need to do more videos my girl, brilliant voice over, good speed and they all look spectacular, you totally rocked it.

WOW, Lisa ! What a gorgeous array of cards and a great video ! This is a great lesson too : first, colouring all the images (whenever you have time) and then secondly, prepare all the different background….this is great and I think it is a considerable time saving ! Thank you so much, I now know what I can bring with me during my holidays : stamping images on a sheet of cardstock to colour them! It doesn’t take a lot of place in the luggage ! All your backgrounds are awesome and you used each time a different technique, that is great ! And finally you built up 5 adorable cards, I really love them ! Thanks so much for sharing Lisa ! Have a beautiful day ! Hugs xx

Thank you Izzy, that is very sweet of you. The thing is, these cards just used a very small proportion of the images I have coloured, I still have many more to use. And also, to help speed it up more, you can do x3 of each background each time and then arrange your images accordingly. I just thought for the video it would be more interesting to show 1 card of each background. And I do take colouring on holiday, like you will, it’s great to pass the odd hour to so and you have some little images to use when you get back – it’s perfect. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and read, Lisa x

Absolutely adorable! I’m off to watch now. I love little cards, especially making the envelopes for them. These are all perfect and you are right, it’s a great way to use up images from the challenge – something I still have to do. It’s also brilliant inspiration for Christmas cards, of which I have three, two of those were done with you back in December last year……. need a kick! xx
