Hello friends!
I am honoured to be asked to be a Guest Designer for this month’s Flower Challenge. The Flower Challenge is celebrating it’s very first birthday which is wonderful and this month, as a thank you to all those who participate, they will be offering prizes if you win. And as always there is bucket loads of inspiration from the Design Team and your fellow cardmakers to whet your appetite. Head over to their blog to see full details of the challenge and how to enter.
The theme for October is “use your favourite flower” and so I have chosen to use Clearly Besotted’s “To You With Love”. I have used this stamp set so many times, I love the size and composition of it. I am not sure if this stamp is still available to buy, but this technique will work well with any floral that you have in your stash.
Here is my card for today
I thought it might be useful to do a video on this technique. I am using Copic markers to colour on acetate – a technique I have done quite a few times now, but I always like the result. I hope that you enjoy the video, and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to leave them either here on my blog or over at YouTube and I will be sure to get back to you.
And a close up of the card for you.
As always, thank you for stopping by to visit. I love to hear from my blog readers, so please feel free to leave me a message below. And be sure to hop over to The Flower Challenge blog to see what the other designers have in store for you, the cards are fabulous! You have until 25th October to link your card up on the FC blog – please make sure you read the challenge rules carefully as I would hate you to miss out on the opportunity to win a prize!
A huge thank you to Aileen for asking me to join her and the team – I am a big fan of florals so this was a fun challenge to be involved in. I will be back soon with another project and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Your card is gorgeous, I didn’t know you could color on acetate like that, love how the colors blend and look so vibrant and intense. The die is awesome and frames your flowers beautifully.
