Hello friends!
I hope you are well. Today I am sharing a quick post with you. I have made a few cards recently that I haven’t blogged and thought I might share some of them with you over the next few weeks.
So without further adieu, here is my card for today
I made this recently for the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge. I had previously watercoloured some leaves from the SSS Fractile Leaves stamp set and hadn’t used them. They were stamped and embossed in gold and then watercoloured with Gansai Tambi – just love the beautiful rich colours in that set.
As you know I hate not using things I have previously coloured…. so I decided they would work nicely on this CAS thank you card. The background was die cut with a SSS Heartfelt die and I simply adhered the leaves on top and popped a sentiment on.
The whole panel was then mounted onto a SSS fog card base. This will be going out to my dad today as he is just simply the best.
Thank you for stopping by, I will be back soon with another project. Have a great week!

This is a very nice card, the combo of neutral die cut background and colourful leaves works really well!

Lisa, Lisa, why is it’s that when I see your cards I always want to buy things? You showcase products so beautifully and you always use up things you have previously coloured – I need a real prod to do that! I love Gansai Tambi as you know and the colours you’ve picked for those leaves are just perfect. They look like the ones outside my window. And you know how much I love CAS and this is perfect with the two layers white on white. A beauty! Xx
