Hello friends! I hope you are all well wherever you are around the world 🙂
Just stopping in with a quick card for you today – and not a Christmas card, nor a birthday card. Just one of those really useful cards to thank a friend. We all needs lots of those don’t we?
So, here is my card for today.
I created the background using Tim Holtz Ranger Alcohol Inks. As many of you will be aware there is a trend for them at the moment and I have jumped on the bandwagon. I will do a video with how to create this kind of background at some point, as it’s really useful to see the “how” rather than trying to put it into words! It’s a lot of fun, and addictive.
I took an A2 panel and die cut it with a stitched rectangle and also a Mama Elephant Columbus Circle die. I adhered my alcohol ink panel to the back with adhesive tape. I then adhered it all to the card base.
The adorable Lawn Fawn otters were coloured with Copics and raised with foam tape and popped onto the panel. I then took a few Simon Says Stamp heart die cuts and Copic coloured them, adding some sparkle (of course) and then I popped those onto the panel too.
Lastly I grabbed a skinny strip of Neenah Solar White, coloured it with the same red as the hearts and white heat embossed the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Critters At The Dog Park. The strip was also popped up with foam tape.
That finishes my card for today. Cute eh? Thank you as always for stopping by, I appreciate each and every visit you make to my blog.
See you soon with another project.
