Hello everyone, I hope you are all well.
Today I am sharing a card I made for a crafty friend of mine who got married (on the quiet!) recently.
Here is my card. Apologies for the not so good light, it is so hard to get good light at this time of year, no matter what time of day.
I used the so so cute “Charmed” stamp set from Mama Elephant to create the card. I don’t own any “wedding” stamp sets, so needed to find something where I could pair two animals together, and I thought this was a sweet set to use.
I started by stamping the owls, banner, wreath and heart onto Neenah Solar White cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink so that I could colour them with Copics. I also stamped the sentiment onto the banner at this point. Once I had coloured everything, I used the coordinating die set to cut the images out.
I then traced the outside of the wreath onto Neenah cardstock, and blended three distress inks onto the traced area. Once I had done this I cut the inked area out and attached the wreath onto the top using wet adhesive.
All that was left to do was assemble the card. I used a quilted stitched pattern die to create a 5.5″ x 4.25″ panel for the backdrop. I popped up the wreath with some double sided foam tape, and then the two owls and heart with a double layer of foam tape. The congratulations banner was just adhered with acrylic glue. Finally I added some sparkle to the banner and the heart just to give it a little extra interest.
That finishes my card for today. Thank you as always for stopping by.

Such a beautiful card and my favourite – owls! I love how you’ve made them the centre of attention – rightly so for a wedding card! And I love the banner beneath with loads of sparkle. I also love love LOVE that stitched background. And to top it all off your Copic colouring is beautiful too. Really a gorgeous card perfect for the occasion. Xx

Oh la la, I’m late in my comments, days fly too quickly ! First of all thank you to you too for your sweet comments on my blog ! As you say, comments make ones day ! As a crafter, I know the work and the love that everyone puts in making a card, so I like to tell people that their work is beautiful and inspires me. By surfing on bogland, we take a little bit of each one to create our own cards, so a little word to thank is well worth it !
Your card is super cute Lisa, and I’m sure your friend will love it ! What a gorgeous blending you made, how do you do to make it so soft ? And I love this stitched panel background ! Very beautiful card !

I cant find any in Australia and one EBay place said they would get in if I ordered 6 sets (find a friend) at…..wait for it $48 a set. Bloody hell think Ill just have to stick to my sponges.
Hope your going well honey, miss you at the flower challenge.
