Hello friends old and new!
Firstly, thank you all so much for all the lovely wishes after my announcement yesterday – it really did make my day to read them and I am hugely grateful for your support and kindness.
I am back today with another card for the Clearly Besotted March release countdown. Today I am using another of the smaller sets from the release. Isn’t this little sausage dog just adorable? As soon as I saw this set I knew I had to have him on an action wobble!
I began by stamping the dog onto some Neenah Solar White cardstock and colouring with Copics (markers listed below). I then fussy cut him but there are coordinating dies available for this set if you don’t like to cut 🙂
Next I took a 4.5″ square piece of Neenah cardstock and ran it through my die cutting machine using the trees die from the Scene It die collection. I put the die-cut panel into my MISTI and stamped the trees using Memento Tuxedo Black and then the sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black ink (my go-to ink for sentiments, it’s so very crisp). I coloured the trees with Copics.
Next I took a 4.5″ white base card and ink blended the top section with distress inks to create a bright and fun sunset type background. I then adhered my tree panel onto the base using foam tape to give it some dimension.
Lastly I popped an action wobble onto the back of the sausage dog and adhered it down. I stamped the little wobble marks to finish the card off. It’s so fun to make him bounce around!
Thank you so much for joining me again today. I will be back tomorrow with another card to celebrate the new release. In the meantime, do hop over to the awesome Design Team members Stephanie, Michelle, Keren and also to the super sweet and talented Rubeena who is guest designing for Clearly Besotted this month and see what they have created – it is sure to be inspiring!
All stamp sets and coordinating dies will be available for purchase through Clearly Besotted or Simon Says Stamp from 1st March 8pm GMT. I will link to the new products after the release has gone live.
Until then, don’t forget to comment here on my blog during these four release days to be in with a chance of winning a £40 gift certificate to the Clearly Besotted shop. I will be drawing a winner on 1st March, so please leave any comments before 10pm on 28th February! Good luck!
Happy crafting!

Ha! I love that sentiment. Best way of apologizing for doing something dumb I’ve ever seen. And the action wobble is the perfect way to finish off the card. Thank you so much for sharing; I love this to bits and pieces.

You have created such a fun card! Beautiful colouring too! Ironically our young son asked me today where the word ‘hot dog’ came from….. I think your card speaks a thousand words…!

Cracks me up does this one! It’s a gorgeous card though – that background is yummy. He is hilarious wobbling around like, well, like a sausage! You really are doing yourself proud on the team. xx
