It’s countdown day 3 for the Clearly Besotted March release! And today I have a super cute card for you featuring another of the mini sets. I hope you are as excited as I am about the release – there are some really lovely stamps and they will be available to purchase, along with coordinating dies, from 1st March, 8pm GMT. I will link to the new products down below, once the release has gone live.
My card for today features the Fairy Tale Fairy set and I have created a CAS card with some pastel colours – yes you are on the right blog! It is me here!
I started by taking an A2 panel of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock and I masked off a circular area towards the top portion. I took a cloud stencil and applied distress inks in rainbow colours through the mask. I then die-cut the panel with a stitched rectangle.
Next I stamped the fairy using Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured her with Copics (all numbers are listed below in the supplies section) and then fussy cut her. I added a liberal dose of Wink of Stella to her dress and wings. It’s hard to capture how sparkly it is but hopefully you can see it a little in the picture below. I also added some Sakura Black Glaze pen to her eyes to give them a little gloss and dimension.
Lastly I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment in silver embossing powder, popped the fairy onto the card panel using double sided foam tape and then adhered some sequins to add that final bit of sparkle.
The whole panel was then added onto an A2 cardstock base. Isn’t she adorable?
If you have a few spare minutes with a cup of tea, do hop over to Stephanie, Michelle, Keren and also to Rubeena who is guest designing for Clearly Besotted this month and see what they have created – I am sure they would love to hear from you.
Thank you so much for stopping by, in the meantime, happy crafting.
Copics used: Colourless Blender, B000, B00, E41, E42, E43, RV000, RV00, RV02, E50, E51, E00
