Hello there friends!
I am back today with a welcome baby card. I have to confess to not owning many new baby stamps as most of my friends have had their children by now! But since I have started this hobby, I now meet people of all ages and so I was in need of a baby card. I pulled out this adorable Stamping Bella image and thought it would fit well to welcome the little one into the world.
The oh-so-cute image was stamped onto Neenah Solar White cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then coloured it with Copics (numbers listed below in the supplies section). One of the many great things about Stamping Bella images is that their packaging is of a coloured image so you can use this as a guide for your own colouring. I chose to follow the colour palette on the packaging.
Once I had finished colouring, I took a sentiment from Clearly Besotted Cutie Pie which is now discontinued but you will most likely have something similar in your stash, and stamped it using Versafine Onyx Black ink.
I took the Sunshine Layers die set from Wplus9 and die cut the panel before adhering it onto an A2 base card created from Neenah Desert Storm cardstock using double sided adhesive tape.
So that finished my card. I forget how nice it is to just stamp an image and enjoy the colouring process.
This is going to a new friend of mine, Rubeena, who welcomed her little girl into the world a few weeks ago. I hope she likes it.
Copics used: B000, Y35 (bee), YG13, YG17, V01, V04, V06, V09, W0, W1, W3, W5

I don’t own many new baby stamp sets either, but having a cute set like this, it works for many different cards. It’s really really sweet and all you need on the card. I’m sure that Ruby will absolutely love it. Doesn’t seem that long ago she got married – I guess that’s the way it happens! xx
