Hello friends
Do you ever just sit down and want to make an easy card? Well sometimes I do, and I reach for all those pre-coloured images that I have in my stash. I usually colour a lot during Kathy Racoosin’s 30-day colouring challenges and I keep my images for days like today! Let’s face it, the sun is shining, who wants to be indoors?
So here is my card for today.
I never have any “new home” cards in my stash so thought I would reach for these pre-coloured images. The background was one I made earlier this week and had decided not to use – so this card was pretty quick to pull together.
I ran an A2 piece of white cardstock through my die-cutting machine with a stitched rectangle and also a stitched circle. I cut some grass using a border die and attached it to the back of the die-cut panel with DST. I added foam tape to the back and adhered it to the card base which had been previously stencilled with a rainbow inked background.
I adhered the mushrooms, welcome sign and little gnome onto the panel using either foam tape or wet adhesive. Lastly I white heat embossed the sentiment and popped it onto the panel.
That finishes the card! I apologise but I don’t have the pencil colours or Copic colours as I coloured these ages ago but anything similar will work just as well for you. I used Faber Castell Polychromos pencils for the little girl and Copics for the mushrooms and sign.
I hope you all have a fantastic weekend and I will be back soon. Thank you as always for your visit.

Isn’t this the best thing about the colouring challenge? You can pick up bits and make a card and wonder why it takes you half the time. It’s such a cute little scene and I especially like that the clouds are yellow – that really tickles me. So super cute. Shame I’m not moving again any time soon!! LOL! xx

This is so cute, Lisa! And yay! For having lots of the bits already made, it’s great when things come together like that. I love the little scene you have created with the clouds in the background xx
