Hello there
I hope you are all doing well. Today I have a floral card for you using a whole array of gorgeous MFT products, most of which I purchased recently, so I am feeling very pleased at how quickly I have used them!
I thought that maybe if we fill our lives with flowers then Spring and Summer might come a little bit early! So today, I have another floral card for you.
A very easy to make card as all it involved was a bit of die cutting and a bit of Copic colouring. I started off by die cutting the Bold Stripes cover up with MFT Grout cardstock – this is a beautiful neutral grey and I thought it would be the perfect backdrop to my bright poppies. Whilst I had the machine out, I die cut the sentiment from Friend duo twice and the Grand Greenery dies using two different green cardstocks, one is MFT Limelight, the other just from my stash.
I set all this to one side and stamped up my poppies from Painted Poppies, coloured them with Copics (numbers listed below) and die cut them with the coordinating dies.
Then all I needed to do was assemble the card, so I adhered the Bold Stripes panel with Multi Medium Matte. I then arranged the greenery and adhered that down, making sure to leave the tops free of glue, so I could pull them up a little and add some dimension. The poppies were adhered with a mix of MMM and foam tape.
The sentiment from From Me To You was white heat embossed on black cardstock and die cut with an MFT stitched sentiment die. This was then popped on just under the Friend which had been adhered with MMM after I had layered the two die cuts up. Lastly, I added a spattering of sequins and some shimmer on the flowers.
I just knew that this cover up die was going to be loved when I picked it up recently, and I already adore how it adds some interest to the card without detracting from the rest of it.
I hope your day is crafty…. and I will be back soon with another card for you. Have a fabulous day!
Copics used: R37, R35, R32, Y15, Y17

Such a beautiful and bold card. I buy cover up dies because I see such wonderful inspiration like yours, try them and then hate them, so I sell the dies, then see wonderful inspiration and wish I hadn’t sold them….. but it pleases me that other people get lots of use out of them. I could do with a bit more colour in my life!! xxx
