Hello there!
I am back today with my second card for the Clearly Besotted March Teasers. Today I am showcasing one of the larger A6 sets called Baby Love. This set has three beautifully drawn images, centred around animal families.
So here is today’s card.
For this card, I began by stamping the dog family image onto Neenah with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and I coloured it with Copics (numbers listed below). The colouring did take me a little while and I thought to add interest, rather than making the dog family all one breed and colour, I mostly coloured them in different colours. The image was then fussy cut but there are coordinating dies available.
I then worked on my base card. For this I did some masking and some stencilling. I took the MFT Drifts and Hills stencil and blended Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks above. I then cut a mask, adhered it and blended Mowed Lawn below it, fading it out as I went down the panel. With the mask in place, I then took the Sunny Day stencil, and blended some Salty Ocean Distress Ink through that. You can see the subtle rays coming up from behind the dogs on the right hand side and a little to the left hand side.
Before pulling the card together, I stamped a sentiment from Tiny Type onto the panel using Versafine Onyx Black ink. Foam tape was then added to the back of the image and it was popped up onto the ink blended panel. I felt I needed to add something else to the scene, so next I took the cat with balloon image from Cupid Cuties, did a little alteration to remove the cat from it and stamped it! This was also coloured it with Copics and then fussy cut. It was adhered with wet adhesive behind the dogs and I then added some Nuvo Aqua Shimmer and Nuvo Crystal Glaze.
To finish the card, I die cut the white panel with the Hero Arts Rectangle Infinity dies, matted it onto some red cardstock and then onto a top folding A2 base card. I also added some shimmer to the red collar, and some black glaze pen to their eyes, just for some extra embellishment.
My cards are often quite “simple” in style but I like to think that when the recipient gets them, that there is a bit more to them. I like to add little details, but they are not always obvious in a photo sadly.
That finishes my teaser for today. Please do hop over to Stephanie, Keren and Michelle to see what they have been creating for today’s teasers. Thank you for joining me and I will be back tomorrow with another card for you. Happy crafting.

This is cute beyond belief. The kind of picture you get before one child is sick or hits the other and Mum gets fed up with Dad…… a brief moment of joy that you live for. Love it! xx

Great colouring & a fun background for the family. I like the clean, crisp, simple look, I find it harder to know when to leave good alone than where to keep adding bits. Your style is stunning, keep it up. Thank you for sharing these x
Hope all is ok at home for you, if you need anything that I could do then shout out, we are all with you x
