Hello again! Today I am back with a quick post featuring the lovely MFT Sweetest Somebunny set. I am trying to carve out a bit of relaxation time for myself in the next few days and thought I would join in with MFT’s week long Camp Create.
I am a little bit behind as it started on Monday (!) but this is my card for day one which was all about watercolor. I pulled out the lovely Sweetest Somebunny stampset and the Stacey Yacula Scene Builder set to create a simple scene.
I stamped the bunny and sentiment onto Arches Cold Pressed cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black Ink which is a waterproof ink. I also stamped a mask at the same time and then adhered that to the bunny before stamping the clouds and grass bank.
I used Distress Inks to watercolor my scene, doing two or three layers to build up interest and making sure to heat set or air dry before moving onto an adjacent section. It didn’t take long – I find watercoloring so relaxing, much more so than Copics for some reason. Maybe it’s because you can be more fluid and organic than you can with Copics.
Once dried, I trimmed the panel down and added it onto a SSS Doll Pink base card. It really didn’t take long to pull this together and I love the uncomplicated scene. I can’t promise I’ll manage to play along with each day of Camp Create but I’ll give it a go! Until next time, I hope you have a lovely day and I will be back again soon.

i haven’t even looked at the Camp. I’ve been working with the On The Make event, up in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Eventually, I will get there. . .

She’s so sweet bless her. You’ve done some stunning colour work on this design. Hope you get some relaxation time this week & next. I’ve got the time but I’ve her hit with another high chronic pain attack & see to be unable to.concentrate for two mins to do anything. Have a fabulous weekend x.
