Hello there friends! Today I am sharing my final countdown teaser for the December release from Clearly Besotted. My last card features the new set called Love Letters. This set contains lots of images you can use to create a…. love letter…..! So lots of postage stamp options, hearts, some adorable piglets and and envelope outline. In the set you have the option to create an actual envelope image but I went a slightly different way and just kept mine super CAS and did little postage stamps with pigs on.
Really simple to do, I stamped the postage stamp outline onto three different pink cardstocks. I then took a square die from the same Spellbinders set that I used in yesterday’s card and die cut the postage stamps out and set them to one side.
The pigs were stamped onto Neenah and coloured with Copics and then fussy cut. To assemble the card, I die cut a white Neenah panel with a SSS Stitched Rectangle die (to give a bit more interest to a very CAS card). This was adhered flat onto a top folding SSS Fog cardstock base.
The four stamps were stuck down with wet adhesive and the little pigs added on top with some foam tape for dimension. I created the sentiment by taking one of the tags from Teeny Tags (released last month) and stamping that on Fog and then a sentiment from the Love Letters set into the tag. I fussy cut that out and popped it up with foam tape.
I will be back tomorrow with a release day post with a reminder of all my cards. In the meantime, do hop over to the Clearly Besotted Blog, Keren and Michelle to see what they have made. I am sure they would love to hear from you! Thank you for stopping by.
Copics used: Pigs (YR02, YR00, E00), Angel Wings (B000), Hearts (R14, R32, R20)
