Hello everyone, a quick post from me today sharing a card I created recently with the lovely Waffle Flower Tulips set.
The set comes with two different tulip images. I have used one already on this card so thought I would use the second image for today’s card. The cards are very similar but sometimes I like to CASE my own cards when my mojo goes AWOL. I did some simple Copic colouring and die cut it with the coordinating die.
The background – well you know how much I love the Taylored Expressions Rectangle Masking stencils…. out they came again. I adhered the stencil down onto my white A2 panel and blended Tumbled Glass and Shaded Lilac Distress Inks onto it. I deepened the colour in the corners and left hand side and faded out towards the middle and right hand side. I popped the tulip up with foam tape.
The panel was adhered flat onto a top folding A2 card with DST. For embellishment, I added some Crystal Circles from Lucy’s Cards and on the tulips I used a couple of Copic Spica pens to add a little bit of glitter here and there. The sentiment is from SSS Sketched Flowers and was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink.
There you have it! A quick and simple card which would suit all sorts of occasions. Thanks for stopping by folks, happy crafting!
