Hello friends! Popping in with a quick Christmas card for you today. I had a little time to myself this afternoon and thought I would play along with the current MFT Sketch Challenge. I haven’t taken part in ages and I always enjoy it when I do, it certainly makes you take a fresh look at your stash!
Here is my card.
Such a fun sketch and I knew immediately that I could use something I had had in my stash for a little while and hadn’t used. The MFT Merry Christmas Circle Frame die – and so I based my card around that frame.
I began by die cutting a circle in a light blue cardstock and then applying Nuvo Moonstone Glimmer Paste through the MFT Snow Flurry stencil. I set it aside to dry and stamped out my snowman and snowball images. These were then coloured with Copics and die cut with the coordinating dienamics.
Next I cut the Merry Christmas Circle Frame from Neenah 110lb so it is a little bit sturdier but I really probably should have done it twice and stacked them up, but it works ok.
The greeting is from the set and this was stamped onto MFT Grout cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. I used an MFT Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strip to die cut it out.
To pull the card together, I adhered the blue snowy panel down flat onto my white cardstock panel, followed by the frame die cut. I used Multi Medium Matte to adhere the frame and put a couple of acrylic blocks on it to help set it. I added foam tape onto the snowman, snowballs and sentiment and stuck those down.
Such a fun sketch! I might make another as I love the way you can group the images together in this way. I will be back with another card for you soon, in the meantime, happy crafting and stay safe! xx

Sweet card, was refreshing to see that little snowman reaching out as if to say, “hug me”. Thanks for sharing your talent and inspiration.
