Hello there crafters! Welcome to my blog and a fun inspiration blog hop using the latest kits from Spellbinders. Today, a team of designers from across the globe have come together to share new ideas with this month’s clubs. Spellbinders introduced two new kits for 2023 – a Stitching Die of the Month Club and a 3D Embossing Folder of the Month Club – these both proved very popular and sold out quickly so if you missed out, you may want to subscribe so that next month you are good to go! You can find details on all the clubs towards the end of my post. There are, however, still some clubs available to buy this month and I use one of those on my card today.

My card features the beautiful Clear Stamp and Die of the Month Club Kit which is called Hydrangea Bouquet. This kit includes a large floral image plus a smaller floral spray. I really love the large image and wanted to use that on my card today. If you like to watercolor or colour then this is a fabulous image as you just stamp and go! I thought I would get my alcohol markers out for today’s card. I did watercolour the image on a previous card which I have linked below.
I began by stamping the image onto 80lb white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I coloured it with Copic markers and I have listed the colours just below in case you are interested in what I used. Once the colouring had been completed, I cut the image out with the coordinating die and set it to one side.
Copics used: (YG17, YG03, YG01), (RV69, RV09, RV06, RV04, RV02), (BV08, BV04, BV13, BV02, BV00)
I then took another panel of white cardstock and a masking stencil. I taped the panel to the stencil and then using a blending brush, I blended Picked Raspberry, Kitsch Flamingo and Spun Sugar Distress Oxides up from the bottom. I left the stencil on and smooshed a little bit of Picked Raspberry Distress Ink onto my glass mat. I spritzed with water and then using a small rounded brush, I added some splatters towards the bottom of the panel and up towards the top right.
I waited for the panel to dry and then adhered it to a top folding A2 white heavyweight note card. The flower image was then added on top with thin foam tape.

In case you feel like doing a little shopping, I have listed the products I have used below. Some of them are affiliate links which means that I receive a small commission if you use one. The sentiment is from the kit and it was stamped onto black cardstock using Versamark Ink. I added white embossing powder and heat set it before trimming it out with the coordinating die. I cut a further two layers from black cardstock and adhered the three layers together into a small stack before adding them onto the flower. To embellish, I adhered a few Raindrops from Lucy’s Cards.

Spellbinders Clubs
The Spellbinders Clubs are a monthly subscription kit and there are several to chose from depending on your papercrafting preference (see below). The kits ship monthly and you can cancel at any time. Each month, at the start of the month, there are designers from around the world that will share inspiration with the kits and show you ideas of how you might like to use them. There are other benefits if you sign up and you can see those here but they include exclusive deals, bonus savings and free gifts. There is also a page of FAQ’s which you can see here.
