Onto my two cards for today. If you have your inks out, you may as well make more than one!
Card 1 – Thanks, Love You
I am using the gorgeous Spring Garden Stamp Set, the Spring Garden Layering Stencils, the Spring Garden Coordinating Die and the Large Thanks Die.
I began by stamping the Spring Garden stamp onto some Neenah Solar White 80lb Cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then took the Spring Garden Layering Stencils and set about colouring the image with a selection of Altenew and Pinkfresh Studio inks. To hold my card in place I used a MISTI Sticky Mat which is really helpful as not only does the card stick to it, but the stencils too.
There are four stencils in the set and they are super easy to line up. I used Altenew Aqualicious, Teal Cave and Galactic Stream for the flowers. Aqualicious and Teal Cave provide most of the colour – I just a little touch of Galactic Stream to create some even darker areas amongst the flowers nearer the centres or the edges of the leaves. For the leaves I used Pinkfresh Studio Grassy Knoll, Key Lime and Olive. The flower centres were created with Altenew Warm Sunshine and Caramel Toffee.
The image was then cut out with the coordinating die and I cut a further two layers and adhered all three together. This is a great way of adding dimension to the die cut without using foam tape which can be fiddly to cut for all those stems! It also feels really solid which I like.
For my background, I simply took another white panel and using blending brushes, I blended Altenew Aqualicious ink from the bottom up towards the middle, fading it out as I went. The floral image was then added on top with wet adhesive.
I took the Large Thanks Die and cut the thanks from black cardstock and the shadow from white card. They were adhered together and then added across the image using foam tape and glue. The sub-sentiment is from the Spring Garden Stamp Set and it was stamped onto black cardstock using Versamark Ink. I applied white detail embossing powder and heat set before trimming it down with the coordinating die and adding it to the panel. I finished by embellishing with some white pearls.
Card 2 – With Love On Your Special Day
For the second card, I used the Spring Garden Stamp Set, Spring Garden Layering Stencils and the Spring Garden Coodinating Die.
It was created much the same way as the first but I changed the colours, the sentiment and the background. For this card I used Altenew Pinkalicious, Rubellite and Razzleberry for the flowers, Warm Sunshine and Caramel Toffee for the flower centres and Pinkfresh Studio Grassy Knoll, Key Lime and Olive for the leaves.
My background panel was created by ink blending the centre of the panel, fading out towards the edges. I used Pinkalicious for the ink blending and for this card, I thought I would add some splatter detail for extra interest. So I smooshed some Raspberry Bliss ink onto my glass mat, spritzed it with water and then added splatters using a no.2 round brush. I left the panel to dry.
Once dried, I added my floral image on top – this had also been created as a stack using some extra layers of white card. The sentiment is from the Spring Garden Stamp Set and it was stamped onto black cardstock using Versamark Ink. I applied white detail embossing powder and trimmed it with the coordinating die. It was added onto the panel with foam tape and wet adhesive. I finished the card by adding some pearls for embellishment.

I love how you added a bit of colour to the card base-simple but a great background for the flowers. Very pretty!
