Hello everyone! It’s release day at Clearly Besotted today and this month I got myself a bit more organised and actually had time to create a card for you for release day. So instead of giving you a run through of my teasers, I have a new one for you! The products will go live at 8pm BST and don’t forget that you can pick up the bundle including free gifts for a special price. But they go fast so be quick!
Today’s card features the new set called Super Plushies and it’s another fabulous set for creating a scene. You even have the city buildings all ready to just stamp and go! Recently Clearly Besotted have done lots of sets where the main image can just be stamped and doesn’t require masking – making them very popular with people who, like me, don’t like to faff around with masks!
For my final card, my background was created with liquid watercolors. I dropped a few drops of Wild Rose, Violet and Turquoise Blue Dr PH Martin’s Radiant Watercolor inks onto my Tim Holtz glass media mat, spritzed with a little water and then pressed my panel of Arches Cold pressed paper onto it. That soaks up some of the ink and allows the inks to combine really well. I mopped up the excess ink on the mat with another piece of watercolor cardstock and set both aside to dry. That means I have another to use on a separate project. And I waste less ink!
The city building image and super dog from the new set were stamped onto white cardstock and coloured with Copics. I fussy cut them out and set them to one side. I then took an MFT Stitched Arch Stax die and cut a window panel from white cardstock.
The watercoloured piece was added flat onto a top folding horizontal card base before adding the window panel on with foam tape. I took the buildings image and slotted that inside the window, adhering it with Multi Medium Matte and using an acrylic block to make sure it was stuck down properly. Super Dog was added with foam tape.
Finally, I stamped a sentiment from the set onto black cardstock, added white EP and heat set. This was adhered with MMM and foam tape as it straddles the window panel.
Links to all the products used in this card are listed below, along with links to all the new sets. The release goes live at 8pm BST at Clearly Besotted and Simon Says Stamp. In the meantime, it would be lovely if you could hop over to the Clearly Besotted blog, Keren, Michelle and our fabulous special guest Keeway. I will be back soon with another project for you and THANK YOU for spending time with my again during the teasers. I appreciate you all! xx

You’ve done an amazing job with the teasers, Lisa, and this final card is the bomb! Great tip on making the background (actually two backgrounds!), and I love the jewel tones! It’s a darling super hero design, perfect for a crafter! Keep well! Hugs, Darnell
