Good afternoon crafters!
I hope you are all well and doing lots of crafting – lets face it, most of us in the UK are not enjoying a lot of sunshine at the moment!
I am popping in today with a quick post showcasing my final card for Anna’s Casometry challenge. As you may remember from previous weeks, this is the challenge where we have to create 5 cards from one set of stamps.
For the final part of the challenge, Anna changed it up a little and asked us to CASE one of the cards from the other submissions in the challenge. This is the card I decided to CASE. It is made by Olga from St. Petersburg – isn’t it just so cute?
And here is my card.
A really easy card and probably my most CAS of all five. First up, I die cut and embossed a few scalloped circles, took one of them and added some Salty Ocean distress ink with a little bit of water splatters to remove bits of the ink. I then coloured one of the birds from the stamp set with Copics, die cut a star balloon, Copic coloured that too and added a healthy coat of glossy accents. I popped the bird and balloon up on the coloured panel with foam adhesive. Lastly, I heat embossed a sentiment onto black cardstock and added a few black adhesive gems.
Finally, here is a picture of all five of my cards for the challenge. In the end, I think I made each of them look quite different which I felt was going to be hard to do, and I tried a new technique at the same time on one of them.
Thank you so much for hosting this Anna, a really fun challenge to take part in and I will definitely take part in your next one.
That’s all for me today, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and you get to enjoy some sun, wherever you are.
