Hello crafters!
Just popping in with a quick card today. I bought the new Mama Elephant Botanic Hello stamp set a week or so ago, and just got around to giving it some love.
Here is my card for today
This is just one of those cards where all the hard work is done for you – you stamp and watercolour – you don’t need to think of a design or do any masking! I started out by using the MISTI to stamp the image in Versamark ink and then I heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. I wanted the “Hello” to be in gold so I used my Gansai Tambi watercolour paints to colour this beautiful image.
I started off by filling in the gold hello, and then just played around with pinks and greens until I got the desired effect. It took about 3 layers on most flowers and leaves, but really there is no science to this, just put colour on until you are happy, leaving it to dry in between layers.
I took the sentiment from the stamp set, heat embossed it onto black, and popped it up using double sided foam adhesive. A few sparkling clear sequins finished off the card.
I hope you like the card. I have a feeling I will be using this one a lot. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great week.

It’s absolutely gorgeous! I just love the gold Hello. Your watercolouring is also so effortless and I love that you can see the layers and they just blend together so well. I really want to see you use this stamp set in so many different ways – I can see tonnes of potential. xx
