Hello everyone, I hope you are all well. Today I am sharing an Easter project with you. I don’t often make tags… very occasionally I include them as part of a card. But I do like to try and stretch my supplies, so I thought it would be something different for me to make some tags for some Easter Gifts.
I began by cutting 4 tags from Neenah Solar White cardstock and I set them to one side. I then took some green cardstock and used the same tag die to cut two pieces that would fit along the base of my tags. Next I die cut a grass edge along the top of the two green pieces. I stamped some little grass images onto the green pieces for interest using Altenew Forest Glades dye ink, and set them to one side.
I took two of the white tags, masked off the bottom section and then applied Tumbled Glass distress ink above, making sure to fade it out towards the top of the tag. I stamped the greeting in Versafine Onyx Black Ink and attached the two green die cut pieces to the tags using double sided craft foam. I also adhered the two remaining white tags to the back of the stamped and masked tags for stability.
All that I then needed to do was stamp the hatching bunnies onto Neenah Solar White, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colour them with Copic markers. (I have listed all colours used in the supplies section below). Once I had coloured them, I fussy cut them, added some foam pads to the back and popped them onto the two tags.
Lastly, I added some black and white twine and I wrote my greeting on the back of the tags before attaching them to the little bags of eggs. I am sending these to Stephanie and Jenny at Clearly Besotted so I don’t eat them myself!!
Wishing you all a very happy weekend when it arrives. I will be back next week with some teasers for the April Clearly Besotted release 😃. Please feel free to leave any comments, or ask questions, I am always happy to help.
Copics used: Bunny (Colourless Blender, C0, C1, C3, R20) Egg (E50, E51, YR21, YR23, YR24)
