Hello again everyone
Today I have two cards to share with you, both using the super cute Panda Perfection mini stamp set.
For my first card I used the mirror stamping technique. This is where you take an image and mirror stamp it to provide an exact replica, but facing the other way round. You can do this with many of your stamps and it’s a great way to stretch your supplies. I used the Paper Smooches Mirror Blocks and my MISTI to help me with this technique.
I began by stamping the two pandas in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and fussy cutting them but there are coordinating dies available for this set if you wish. I then took an A2 (4.25″ x 5.5″) panel of Neenah Solar White cardstock and die cut it with a Simon Says Stamp stitched rectangle and also a heart die from Memory Box. I scored the panel at 0.5″ intervals to add some interest. I took a sentiment from the new Say It’s Love sentiment set and stamped that using Versafine Onyx Black ink.
Next I took the positive heart piece from the panel and inked it with Picked Raspberry and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide inks, with a dash of Candied Apple Distress Ink at the base (you can use both Distress Inks and Distress Oxides on one panel – it really doesn’t matter, they blend well). I then splattered some drops of water onto the heart and lifted them with a paper towel and then added a lovely dose of shimmer spritz over the top.
I made an A2 card base and used the scored panel to mark out where I needed to adhere my heart and I glued that down with wet adhesive. I popped the scored panel on top with craft foam, the Pandas on top of that with craft foam and lastly added some Studio Katia Majestic Fusion sequins.
For my second card, I did a little watercolouring and made a circular card – I like to make different shaped cards every now and again.
This was really simple to create. I stamped the panda onto some Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black as it is waterproof. I added a mask and watercoloured around the panda using Distress Inks (Twisted Citron and Salty Ocean). I left the mask on and stamped the bamboo, again using Versafine Onyx Black ink. I also stamped the sentiment from the set using the same ink.
Once the panel was dry, I die cut it with a Hero Arts Infinity circle die. I also die cut the back circle and created a circular frame, all using the same set of dies. I scored the back circle panel about 0.25″ from the top and added a little bit of double sided adhesive tape and simply adhered that to the watercoloured circle, making sure it was all lined up and would stand up straight. I trimmed a tiny slither off the back panel at the base so that the card would not roll around! And of course a few clear sparkling sequins from Pretty Pink Posh just to give it a little bling! Finally I adhered the circular frame just to finish it off.
That finishes my cards for today and I hope this gives you some inspiration for this gorgeous little set. There is also an option to make a spinner card so it is a wonderful set to have in your stash.
Make sure you pop over to visit Stephanie, Michelle, Keren and guest designer Rubeena to see what they have in store for you, it’s sure to be fabulous.
Thank you as always for your visit. All links to the products are shown below and will be updated once the release goes live on 1st April, 8pm BST here at Clearly Besotted and also over at Simon Says Stamp.

I have never really quite mastered mirror stamping, but you make it look so easy, I am determined to try again! I also didn’t know you could mix oxide and distress inks so well. Maybe I do need more oxides after all???? Lol! Just love the watercoloured card. I really liked making a circular card the other week. It looks so different without much effort. xxx
