Hi everyone
Welcome back and I hope you are all well? Today I am sharing the last of the pieces of colouring that I did whilst away with some friends last month. I only managed 3 things in the whole 26 hour break, but at least they have all made it onto cards!
So, here is my card for today.
I borrowed Steph’s Prismacolor pencils whilst I was there as I don’t own any and I wanted to see how I liked them. And I do, unfortunately, as now it means I want them! I am trying to forget this though and just be grateful I made a card haha!
To start, I took some Strathmore Toned Gray paper and stamped the Clearly Besotted Friends Forever tulip with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I coloured it with Steph’s pencils and I apologise that I do not know the colours but really you can use anything you have in your stash. I used a layer of white pencil first and then added my colour on top, that helps to make the image pop a little.
I die cut it with a stitched rectangle and then stamped the sentiment from Just For You with some Versafine Onyx Black ink. I also went around the image with a Copic Multiliner just to sharpen it a little. Lastly I added three sequins to give it a little bit of glamour and mounted it onto a top folding A2 slate gray card base.
The paper is a really nice paper to colour on, it has a little bit of tooth to it, but I am just not sure I can get my head around the shade of it. It’s different for me, but maybe I will get used to that.
I will be back soon with another project. In the meantime, have a wonderful week.

I just absolutely adore this. I really love the toned grey, but not sure whether I’d ever use it much, but it does bring out the colour of the flowers a lot. The white underneath really does make them pop! I always want new things when I try someone else’s stuff!! x
