Hello again friends
I have another card for you today featuring the beautiful Flower Cluster die that I was very kindly sent by Simon Says Stamp. This is part of their new release, which comes out today, and it is called Sending Sunshine.
So here is my second card, and you have probably guessed from the title, it’s a wedding/engagement card. I think this is possibly the first time I have ever blogged a wedding card – I haven’t made one in years as all my friends married a long time ago and have stayed together – which is wonderful!
This card was really simple to make, but I think this floral cluster looks like lace and seemed to be perfect for a pretty wedding card. So, I cut several of them from Neenah Solar White cardstock and then I used a spray adhesive to adhere them to my fog cardstock panel. I trimmed off any bits that were hanging over the edge. I also filled in the gaps with little leaves here and there.
Next, I ran the panel through my die cutting machine with a heart die from Memory Box which is no longer made – but any heart die you have will do. I then took the lace panel and drew a heart onto my fog card base in pencil so that I would know where to place my sentiment.
The sentiment is stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
I finished the card with three silver gems from my stash of gems – there is a reason I don’t throw these away. Amongst the 1000’s I have, I needed those three! It’s a very contemporary looking wedding card but I really like how it turned out.

Would have been perfect for Harry and Meghan today – her lacey train was just gorgeous, just like the lacey look on this card. It is lovely and contemporary and I’m so impressed you managed to get them to intertwine so beautifully. The little gems are a nice touch – lucky you kept them! It’s why we hoarde, it’s why we hoarde! xx
