Today I am sharing a CAS card which is really all about the colouring. And it is almost one layer, so great for posting at Christmas time. I recently purchased some adorable Stamping Bella images and thought I had better get around to actually using them – you know how that goes don’t you?
So I took some Neenah cardstock and stamped the image onto a couple of panels. I thought I may as well make two whilst I had my markers out, so they were both coloured the same but I changed the sentiment for the second one, which I haven’t shown here in this blog post.
The images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured with Copics (numbers listed below). Sometimes we get so wrapped up in creating an actual card it is hard to enjoy the process of colouring. So I gave myself a “pass” to not actually create the card the same day, but to just enjoy the colouring. And I did!
The panel was cut with a SSS Stitched Rectangle and mounted onto a top folding white base card which I had matted with some red cardstock.
The sentiment is from Trimming The Tree by Clearly Besotted and was stamped with Versamark ink, white heat embossed and just adhered to the panel with wet adhesive. I like the bold black sentiment.
I adore this little image and I think it is one of those that can really stand on its own on a panel (as is the case for most Stamping Bella images). And that bright red cardstock just screams Christmas to me.
Thank you so much for your visit, I hope you have some time to get inky today and I will be back soon with another project for you.
