VIDEO – Make A Wish With Zigs

25th January 2019

Hi everyone

Heading into the weekend with a video for you today! For a while I have been wanting to make this video, but as always, time is a factor. In the past when I have done videos with Zigs, I have had people ask me to do real time videoing so that they can understand the process, colour choices, ways to blend etc. So what I have done today is make a video which combines some real time footage and some sped up parts. This gorgeous image is from the Make A Wish set by Clearly Besotted, truly one of my all-time favourite images to colour.

During the real time sections, I take you through colouring some leaves and some petals, just not all of them as the process is the same on all. I also do a section in real time showing how I add colour around the edge of the image. It is a compromise, but hopefully it is good for everyone.

So, here is the video for you. I hope that you find it useful and I would love it if you would let me have any feedback on how it works for you.

As always, I thank you for being with me today and giving up some of your valuable time. I will be back on Monday with the start of the Clearly Besotted countdown teasers. Until then, I hope you have a wonderful weekend and manage to get your craft on at some point!

Beautiful colour work, thank you for the real time mixed in with faster. This gives me much clearer an idea of how & why you get fab results & mine looks a cross between a Jackson Pollack & a two year with a crayon. Keep an coming please Lisa x
