I do hope you are all well. Apologies for the lack of blog posts recently, I have been working hard on some cards coming up later in the month, and I just haven’t had time to create and share anything else with you. I do sometimes share cards over on Instagram that I don’t get time to blog, so please feel free to follow me, I would love to see you there too!
This card today is one that I shared a few weeks back on Instagram and it features the beautiful Mama Elephant Peonies in Bloom set that I bought recently and made this card from the day after I purchased it!
I’ll keep the words to a minimum today, it’s a simple CAS card which is really just some Copic colouring. I have listed the Copic colours below if you want to know what I used. I did use a couple of new markers on this (they are on the left side bloom) – I LOVE the peachy tones and am glad I picked them up. They are YR00, YR02 and they pair beautifully with E000.
Once I had coloured the flowers and die cut them with the coordinating cuts, they were simply arranged on the die cut scallop panel in a cluster – just the left hand flower was popped up with foam tape. I then die cut the Hello sentiment three times from white cardstock. I gold embossed one of the die cuts and adhered it to the top of the stack. This was then stuck down using wet adhesive over the left flower and foam tape over the rest of the card so it is stable and flat.
I finished off with a few White Orchid sequins from Lucy’s Cards and called the card done. Thanks so much for stopping by, I do appreciate your visit and wish you a wonderful day.
Copics used: R0000, R000, R20, R22, R14, R29, E000, YR00, YR02)
