Hello there, today I am back with a video tutorial for you. I often hear people saying that they wish they could see cards created with older supplies and that these days, so often, people are using only new releases in their video tutorials. So for today’s card, I have reached for a stamp set that is over 3 years old. I have had it in my stash for almost two years and it came out at least a year before I bought it. Plus I am using some older snowflake dies, some which I have used before but also a couple that I bought last year and hadn’t yet used. My sentiment is from a set that I am guessing is possibly four years old – and I still love it! I really enjoy using my older supplies. I feel terribly guilty having things sitting there that have not had the use that they deserve, or that my purse deserves.
I also wanted to show how you can create a beautiful ombre background using just one ink colour. So, if your supplies are limited, don’t worry, it can be done!
Here is the card that I created for you today.
And here is the video tutorial.
I do hope that you have enjoyed watching. I list below the Copics that I have used for your reference. All other supplies are also listed below.
Copics used: Trees (YG01, YG03, YG17), (Wreath on house YG03, R27), (Lights Y08), Door (R22, R27, R29), Roof (C0, C2, C4, CB), House (E50, E51, E53, E55, E57, C5, C6)

Fantastic card, I do love it when designers use some of the introduced that they have mixed in with new designs & mix & matching companies is always a fabulous idea. From a crafter that can’t always afford the latest of sets no matter how much you want to, thank you for taking g time to rummage through your older stock x

Thanks for today’s blog and video.
I’ve been hard at it making Christmas cards and I’ve been going through all my stamps, dies and embossing folders that I’ve acquired through the years. Of course new things are awesome but I’ve got some favorites that I’m constantly going back to.
Your card was so lovely and very inspiring.
Cheers
Lisa

Oh what a beautiful card, Lisa! I love the cosy feel to it even with the blue and the snowflakes! Those snowflakes are gorgeous and they look so pretty in the sky! It’s great to not only be able to use older items but combine companies too xx
