Hello friends! Hope you are all well.
As you will know from a few recent posts, we moved house on 3rd January. We are now the proud owners of a lovely house down in Somerset in the UK. The house we bought is a new build property and I am going to be taking a few months off from cardmaking so that we can have some time to turn a brand new house into our home. There is a lot to do and we are also now a few hours from where we used to live so we need to get used to a new area and all that that entails – exciting! Plus a new craft room needs to be sorted! I’m especially looking forward to that part.
So with that in mind, I am planning on taking a short break from my blog. I expect to be back making cards and blogging regularly in early Spring, maybe a bit sooner but I don’t want to over commit! However, I do have a few posts scheduled in February just to keep you going!
I hope that you will join me on my return and I thank you as always for your support of me. I do appreciate the time that you spend reading and commenting. Blogging is a lot of work so it makes my day when I know that people are out there reading and enjoying what I create.
Thank you so much and I will be back soon. In the meantime, happy crafting! Lisa xx

Congrats on your new home!!! We built a new home and moved in December 24, 1991, yes Christmas Eve with our 2 little boys who were almost 1 and 3 at the time. Then since they had graduated high school, then college and are productive human beings and our oldest is now married and both are living in another a state both in the same city which is great (we are in the USA), we decided it was time to downsize after 23 years! We had the same contractor who built our home in 1991 build our current home, he’s really good and.an all around good guy! Hubby designed the house again since he’s an engineer and from the time we broke ground in November 2016 we were able to move in the end of March 2017 and thankfully only had one very small snow storm! We still have boxes in the basement, which is a goal this year is to reorganize the basement and go through things, but this is truly our home now. We’ve been able to add a living space and bedroom into the basement because now we a granddaughter who just turned 2 years old on December 30th and we wanted them to have a space of their own when they come up to visit! Enjoy your new home and enjoy your new craft space!! Congrats!!!

Congratulations on the house move, enjoy all the unpacking, colour charts & moving furniture. I still have boxes from our move nearly 7 years ago, I know if I haven’t used it by now I don’t need it lol. Look forward to you returning refreshed in the summer. All the best x
