Hello! I hope you are all well. Today I am back with a couple more birthday cards for you. As I mentioned a few weeks ago, I am on a mission to get some more birthday cards created as I realised I was very short of them. How can that happen when I make so many cards? But it has. Even worse, I have still not been able to unpack my craft room yet and they are still in boxes so I am having to buy cards! We are still very busy with sorting the house, every day it’s like Piccadilly Circus here with people and deliveries coming and going. Next week I have the floor being laid in the new craft room so I am hoping to unpack soon after that. I miss my crafting, it’s been almost 2 months since I made a card.
These cards were created back in December before we moved and as time was limited, to try and take the pressure of myself, I reached for a set that I could just stamp and colour. And no scene building, just keeping it really simple. So, I got out the Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Garden Girl Lily Of The Valley which had sat in my unused box for about 18 months! And I made a couple of cards, just changing the colours up slightly in their dresses and hair. The sentiment is from Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Birthday Party.
Both cards were stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Neenah cardstock and coloured with Copics. I have listed my colour combinations below. Once I had finished colouring them, I took a die from Mama Elephant Park Avenue and die cut the frame from SSS Fog Cardstock.
The coloured panel was added onto a Neenah 110lb base card and then the frame adhered on top with Multi Medium Matte. A few Ocean Breeze jewels/Crystal Circles were added for embellishment along with some Tonic Nuvo Aqua Shimmer on their dresses. And on the inside back flap of the base card, I inserted a SSS Doll Pink/LF Mermaid panel, just so that when you open the card there is a little more colour. And it shows when it is standing up too. It’s a small touch but Kathy Racoosin often does it to add a bit more interest and I think it does help.
So that’s both of the cards finished and ready to be sent off. Stamping Bella images stamp so beautifully, there is nothing like a rubber stamp to give you that crisp clean edge. And they are a joy to colour too. I just wish I had legs as thin as those Tiny Townie girls! On that note, I shall leave you and wish you a great day. I hope to be back in the not too distant future with some new projects. Thanks for your visit, and happy crafting!

How I don’t envy you with all the unpacking and the chaos of moving. Mind you my house is permanently in chaos so not much different! Lol! So glad you inked her up and coloured her in. She’s gorgeous – you know how much I love these stamps – and your colouring is so beautifully soft. Keep on truckin’ and just keep swimming. Sending hugs xxx

Gorgeous. You must be suffering serious withdrawal symptoms from your craft room by now, has it got to stage you’ve gone to other people’s craft rooms to stop the shakes yet ? Hehehe . Great to know you’ll be with us again soon. X
