Hello again! We are whizzing through the countdown teasers and now onto the third day. The Clearly Besotted April release goes live on 1st April at 8pm GMT, so only a few days to wait. In this release, there are a couple of new sets centred around reading and the magic of reading. So today’s card features some magical cats and their open book. And that sentiment? So true…..
To start off I stamped and coloured two of the magical cats and the book from An Open Book and fussy cut them. Next I took a panel of white cardstock, masked off the top area and blended Mowed Lawn below the masking tape. I then shifted the tape and blended Spun Sugar and Tumbled Glass above it. I placed the Cloudy Days stencil over the top of the blue and pink and blended more ink to get the cloud shapes.
I die cut the frame from Mama Elephant Park Avenue and adhered that down onto the blended panel before stamping one of the sentiments from Bedtime Story. All I needed to do then was adhere the book flat onto the panel and pop the cats up with foam tape. A few Studio Katia Majestic Fusion sequins finished it off.
I love to read, do you? I sometimes go back and re-read childhood books as nothing sparks the imagination quite like those. Anyone read the Magic Faraway books? They were great fun and I would still enjoy reading them now. I’m heading over to the Clearly Besotted Blog and then onto Keren, Michelle and Rina to see what they have created today. I hope you can find time to visit them too. I’ll be back with my final teaser for you tomorrow. Happy crafting and stay safe friends.

I think we’ve had this conversation before but I LOVE the Magic Faraway books and the Wishing Chair. Spent hours reading those when I was a child. This is such a cute card with a fabulously true sentiment xx
