Hello all, I am back today after taking a little break, with a card to celebrate the Class of 2020. This year, graduations are going to look a little bit different but that’s no reason not to still celebrate them!
My card today uses the recently released 2020 die from Simon Says Stamp. I did some simple watercolour stripes on Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor cardstock using a half inch flat brush. For the watercolour, I used my Dr PH Martin’s Radiant Watercolor inks – Wild Rose, Tangerine, Daffodil Yellow, Grass Green and Turquoise Blue. I left the panel to dry and then stacked three of the 2020 die cut pieces together – the top one is white glitter cardstock so there is a little bit of sparkle.
I grabbed the CZ Design Yay sentiment set and stamped congrats onto white cardstock and then I trimmed it out. I took the smaller sentiment from the same set and stamped that onto black cardstock, added some white embossing powder and heat set. Both sentiments were popped up with foam tape.
That’s all from me today. I hope you are keeping well and staying safe. Happy crafting!
