Hello everyone! Today marks the start of the countdown teasers for the November release from Clearly Besotted. And we are still in Christmas mode, so for those of you that haven’t started making your cards yet, there is plenty to entice you in this month’s release! So from now until November 1st, myself and the rest of the Design Team will be sharing inspiration with you.
My first card features the beautiful Ring Around Christmas set. A gorgeous wreath image and a choice of cuties to pop on top of that present!
I began by stamping the wreath using Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Neenah 80lb cardstock. I coloured it with Copics (numbers listed below) and then set it to one side. I took one of the critter images from the set, stamped it onto white cardstock and also coloured it with Copics before fussy cutting it out.
The bear was adhered onto the present with wet adhesive and then I trimmed the panel slightly before adding it onto a Schoolhouse Red top folding base card. I stamped “Peace On Earth” onto black cardstock using Versmark and then applied Hero Arts White Embossing Powder and heat set. I trimmed it to size and then popped it up with foam tape.
I added some white gel accents here and then and also some shimmer onto the baubles and poinsettia. I then took a couple of Gold Mix Jewels from Lucy’s Cards and added them to the centres of the flowers.
To finish, I took the Merry Christmas sentiment from Feeling Sentimental and stamped this into the lower section using Versafine Clair Nocturne. I adore that sentiment set as the fonts look so beautiful together and it has sentiments for so many occasions. So useful and so pretty – and you’ll see it again tomorrow!
Please hop over to the Clearly Besotted blog and also onto Keren and Michelle. We also have the lovely Keeway joining us today – be sure to check out her card.

This is beautiful, Lisa! I love the colours you have used on the wreath and that bear is adorable! That sentiment works so perfectly with the images, that set is one of my favourites too! xx
