Hello everyone, and welcome back to the fourth day of the countdown teasers for the September 2021 release from Clearly Besotted. The sets will be released tomorrow at 8pm BST so not long to wait! For my last card, I wanted to use the Cleaning Up set. This is a really great set that you can use to make thank you cards for a cleaner but it also works well for a new home card. If only I had a cleaner to send this card to – maybe I’ll just mail it to myself! And I went super clean and simple today.
I took four images from the Cleaning Up set and stamped them onto some Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock. I coloured them with Copics and then fussy cut them out. The Copic numbers are below.
Next I took the Mama Elephant Park Avenue die set and cut an A2 scalloped frame from MFT Grout Gray cardstock. Sadly this cardstock is now discontinued but any neutral cardstock would work well. I use this frame die so often as it’s such a pretty scallop edge and I really like the small stitching. I adhered it flat onto a white A2 panel and then mounted it all onto a Neenah Solar White 110lb base card using double sided tape.
I added the sweet little critters and pile of laundry onto the white panel with MFT On-Point Precision Glue or foam tape and then I popped the panel into the MISTI and stamped a sentiment from the set using Versafine Onyx Black Ink as this is a lovely crisp black ink.
To finish the card I put a little dimension and shine onto their eyes using black glaze pen. For more inspiration with the new sets, I hope you’ll find time to head over to the Clearly Besotted blog, Michelle and Keren and then onto our fantastic guests, Adelle, Francine, Keeway and Alberto (Instagram). I’ll see you tomorrow but in the meantime, happy crafting!
