Hello and welcome back, I hope you are all well.
Here is my card:
The card is actually quite simple to make, but takes a little while as it is a bit like doing a jigsaw! To begin I die cut the oh-so-pretty Simon Says Stamp Ring Wreath from white cardstock, popped out all the little circles and kept them safely in a bowl.
I created a 5″ x 5″ square card base and adhered the ring wreath using Ranger Multi Medium Matte (dries transparent). It would have been easier if I had used Stick It, but I didn’t think about this until afterwards! Anyhow, the wet adhesive is fine, just a little fiddly to put on but as it dries clear, it worked out just fine.
As luck would have it, I had some glittery silver and turquoise die cut circles left over from another project, so I set about adhering them into the wreath, randomly, but making sure that overall they appeared balanced. I then coloured the remaining die cut circles with Copics and adhered them into the wreath. I took my sparkle pen and added some lovely shimmer to all of the Copic coloured circles because it wouldn’t be Christmas without more sparkle than you could ever wish for!
I die cut the digital sentiment using a pierced circle die and then die cut a slightly larger circle from vellum. I adhered the sentiment circle to the vellum using wet glue, and then popped up the entire centre using foam adhesive
Lastly, I added glossy accents to all of the Copic coloured circles so that they had some dimension. I really like how this card turned out, the glitter circles are so pretty and the Copic coloured circles have a lovely shine to them plus you can see the shimmer underneath.
Again, I really like the font of the stamp and it is great to use some non-English sentiments! If you are interested in buying any of the stamps, please head over to Steph’s Etsy shop.
To celebrate this release, Steph is very kindly giving away a digital stamp to one person on each blog.
For a chance to win the Bonne Fetes digistamp, please leave a comment here by 7th November 23.59 (UK time). The more blogs you comment on, the more chances you have to win. Good luck!
